Colombia in Pink completes the final trio of Born in Pink, the moment where my figurative self-portraits dissolve into luminous, voluminous pink forms that grow directly from the Heart Creatura Forms.
 
Everything in this series begins with my self-portraits, figurative representations of myself emerging from a dinosaur egg, a symbol of birth, transformation, and evolution. From these human forms, my work evolves into the soft, voluminous Creatura shapes, capturing an inner growth that is emotional, spiritual, and deeply personal.
 
This piece embodies my deepest sense of identity: where I was born, what shaped me, and who I am becoming within this new pink world. Colombia, called the “Heart of the world” by the ancestrals, holds a central place in this painting. I wanted to share with everyone not just the country itself, but the emotional and spiritual essence that pulses at its core, passed down through generations.
 
Soft, careful brushstrokes create gentle textures and layered depths, blending natural motifs with playful, dreamlike elements. Through this pink lens, Colombia in Pink becomes both a tribute to my roots and a reflection of my personal evolution, a world rebuilt from the heart outward, honoring the ancestral heartbeat of the world.
